How to join
The 2025-2026 Season commences on the 1st August 2025.
Our Shows throughout the year are conducted under Australian Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) rules, and include Western events such as Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding, Ranch Riding and Reining. We also have English events including Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation.
We hold clinics and have regular Member practice days.

As a DQHA Financial member, you get discounted rates when hiring the undercover arena at Freds Pass Reserve.
Our Shows are approved by both the AQHA and also the Paint Horse Association of Australia (PHAA). This enables members and show participants to gain breed relevant points.
Our members are kept fully informed of the club's activities and show dates by our Facebook site and regular emails.

Please note: to participate at practice days, annual camp, club championship show and other special events you must be a financial member of DQHA. Financial members are given first option to attend clinics before begin open to non-financial members.
